Resolved

Don’t make any New Year’s Resolutions today.

Instead, resolve to keep going. Improve what you’re doing. Get 5% better at the things you already do well, and 20% at the things you’ve just started.

You’ve watched too many resolutions come and go with no real permanent change. You know that making a dramatic “new start" won’t stick.

No drastic diets. No new gym memberships. No elaborate life changes.

Here are some of the things I’m going to keep going at:

Running.
Meditating.
Writing every day.
Prioritizing my family.
Connecting with people about music.
Forgiving myself when I come up short.

Most importantly, in 2015 I will keep trying to make a bigger dent in the universe.
